Just got home for Christmas break a few days ago and I want to do is MAKE MORE ART. Heres some of my favorites from my mixed media class this past semester.

Halloween Book!

Happy Halloween yall! I photographed a bunch of my artist book projects today but unfortunately most of the pictures came out pretty awful, so I guess I'll try again tomorrow. This one came out alright though. Our assignment was to make a Halloween or Day of the Dead themed artist book. I was thinking about what most neighborhoods look like after the night is over and wanted to capture that in my book.

Heres a little something I did at the end of the summer. Though summer was lovely, I can't wait to start the school year!

Providence

I recently did a few cityscapes as a favor for my sister. The Providence one came out the best. I am really starting to like gouache!!

NEVILLE!

My friend anita's precollege class had the assignment to do an illustration of a hero figure incorporating elements of art nouveau. It sounded like so much fun that a couple of my friends and I did the assignment as well. I've been geeking out about the new Harry Potter movie and how awesome Neville is, so I made some heavily Mucha-inspired Neville fanart. Pretty pleased with how it came out!

Sandimation!

Hi! I just finished a sound-based sand animation for my animation for illustrators class. I've had so much fun with this class and I really hope I'll have the opportunity to take another animation class next year. Here's the one I just finished.


I also think I've had a kind of breakthrough in painting recently. I had never worked in oils before this year and I'm finding myself liking them more and more. I'm excited to continue exploring them! Here's the two-week figure painting I completed today
